On the October 15th, 2022 edition of Irish Sports Saturdays, host Angelo Di Carlo interviews the former longtime voice of Notre Dame women's basketball Bob Nagle who recently retired from WHME TV-46. Bob shares stories of his time not only covering the Notre Dame women's team but also men's basketball, hockey and baseball. Plus a ton of stories from his years covering Notre Dame football including great ones from the days of Ara Parseghian and Lou Holtz. Bob also takes us through his childhood growing up an Irish Catholic Notre Dame fan in a small town in Illinois and then getting the chance to move to Michiana. He explains how sportscasting first came into the picture while a member of the Marian football team. He also opens up about his recent health issues and how faith has helped him great through the difficulties of the last few years.
