Members Reviews: Thanks to an irregular author who invited and guided me into this irregular world I loved the Golden Years and reread it in anticipation of the arrival of the Irregular Lives . I savored reading the GY five stories , one a day. I am ashamed that when IRREGULAR LIVES arrived I had no self discipline. Once I picked up the Irregular Lives I took it everywhere with me, devouring it while I enjoyed breakfast, lunch and dinner. It takes a lot of courage to put your efforts out in comparison to a great writer but to do it while imprinting it with your unique DNA is Mr Krisco's forte No irregularities here! I've always had a fondness for the Baker Street Irregulars, so it was with a mixture of anticipation and trepidation that I approached this book. Much like with the recent Lincoln in the Bardo, I believe authors should approach the young people associated with major figures, whether literary or historical, carefully. My fears were unfounded here. Out of the hundreds of pastiche I've read, this is one of the sweetest and saddest Holmes stories I've encountered. Highly recommended.
