On today's episode of Locked on Wild, we continue our Sizing up the Central series by looking at the center position. We look at the Wild and whether or not we expect Ryan Hartman and Freddy Gaudreau to regress. We look at why Joel Eriksson Ek is better suited for the role he has as opposed to being a top line center. Can Ryan Hartman be that guy or is his production a byproduct of being on a line with Kirill Kaprizov and Mats Zuccarello? Is Kaprizov the de facto center for this line as it is? We discuss the expectations for Marco Rossi and why the Wild hope he can be a top line guy to allow every other center to slot in behind him. The Wild ultimately have solid players at the center position, but in our divisional rankings fall to middle of the pack due to the teams above them having legitimate top line guys.
