Atlanta Legacy Makers is a public commemoration of Atlanta’s inheritance exemplified by two Atlanta mayors, Ivan Allen Jr. and Maynard Jackson. This podcast is a companion to the city-wide reading of the 1996 Gary Pomerantz book, “Where Peachtree Meets Sweet Auburn: A Saga of Race and Family,” which chronicles the lives of these mayors and their families in Atlanta.
