In this podcast, Neil Tyagi from Integral Powertrain is interviewed by Scott Jones, CEO of 123 Internet Group. They discuss the Impact of COVID-19 and how it has affected their business, what they have been doing and what exciting plans they have for the future.
Integral Powertrain Ltd (IP) was founded in 1998 by its four current directors John, Luke, Darren and Roger, who had previously worked for a number of years at Cosworth’s road engine business.
Over the first 10 years the business built a strong reputation and a prestigious client base of OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers across a wide range of automotive and aerospace sectors. The key work streams in this period were delivering high quality I/C engines and controls in addition to advanced CAE processes customised to client requirements.
As the importance of reducing CO2 emissions grew, Integral Powertrain employed a strong ‘first principles’ engineering capability to develop a number of innovative technologies and services. One of these, a supercharging and mild hybrid system called SuperGen, is the focus of a complimentary business unit called “Integral Powertrain Technology Ltd”.
