Gossip. Depending on which end of it you're on, it can conjure up different feelings. It can be tempting to participate in, but hurtful when it's about you. Either way, though, gossip can undermine culture, erode trust, and breed negativity throughout an organization. Once it takes hold, it can be a hard bug to squash.
