Zachary received his PhD in food science from Washington State University and has a bachelor’s degree in biochemistry from New Mexico State University. He also hosts the Water in Food podcast where he highlights stories of individuals working in food science and beyond. Amanda Manoj Malik, a dedicated PhD student specializing in Nutrition and Food Sciences at Utah State University, focuses on improving the quality and production techniques of sour cream. Her current industry-related research at the intersection of dairy processing holds promise for advancements in the field.
