Spontaneous - a word I never use to describe me.

I am a big planner, a control freak. Kaya naman sobrang hassle kapag things don’t go as planned. Hindi ba? Pero kailan nga ba nasusunod ang ating mga plano ng 100%?!

Two weeks bago manganak si Prax eh, nagkaroon ng unforseen misunderstanding with our OBGyne doctor that blew our well thought out birth plan. From giving birth at a hospital to a birthing center with a midwife. From an unmedicated natural birth to an emergency C-Section. To a being part of the birth at the delivery room to a by-stander waiting for Prax to get out of the operating room dahil sa new policies due to Covid-19.

Put in a life or death situation, dito ko narealize sponteneity is equally important as planning. Sponteneity puts me in an uncomfotable situation of making a decision right here and now- that leads to execution. Execution which is the ultimate goal sa atin pagpplano.
