What do current studies tell us about the risk of heart disease and cancer on an animal-based diet? In this episode Zane debunks the common school of thought around modern lifestyle diseases.

  • A High protein diet reduces liver fat
  • Recent studies don't support the recommendation to reduce saturated fat in the diet
  • A low carb diet led to better weight loss and blood sugar control than exercise
  • A healthy low carb diet with increased saturated fat decreased triglycerides and increased HDL
