Hailing from Oxford, David Crews not only has mastered the title of author, but to add to that equation, he’s a former U.S. Marshal and current U.S. District Court Clerk for the Northern District of Mississippi. Once calculated, the sum of all parts adds up to one heck of an adjective filled description that could begin with all-round, and end with versatile-individual who I have the pleasure of chatting with today. He’s here on special assignment to provide us with an episode of his quotations, with a behind the scenes-peek into the inspiration that fuels his publications and a look into his passion for our state and country.

Marshall Ramsey, a nationally recognized, Emmy award winning editorial cartoonist, shares his cartoons and travels the state as Mississippi Today’s Editor-At-Large. He’s also host of a "Now You're Talking" on MPB Think Radio and "Conversations" on MPB TV, and is the author of several books. Marshall is a graduate of the University of Tennessee and a 2019 recipient of the University of Tennessee Alumni Professional Achievement Award.
