Life is not easy.
We should have practices that help us be resilient to navigate through its challenges. Yet, could some of the adversities be avoidable? Are we learning from our mistakes? Are we uprooting the issues that are causing us to be resilient in the first place?
There is a growing conversation for us to examine how the systems/institutions we are a part of help or hinder our ability to be strong. Also, these life events impact each person differently, so a blanket statement to "just be resilient" will not work for the person most significantly impacted.
Let's ponder together: What do we need to do to not perpetuate the reasons to be resilient?
