On this episode of the Steel City Nation podcast I’ll interview Michael Decourcy. Mike DeCourcy has been a college basketball columnist for Sporting News for 25 years and its Senior Writer covering college basketball and other sports for the past two decades. He also has served for a dozen years as a studio analyst on basketball coverage for the Big Ten Network, where he has been a panelist on the program "Big Ten Basketball and Beyond" since its inception in 2011. He joined Fox Sports last season as its NCAA bracket analyst. He is a member of the United States Basketball Writers Hall of Fame and the Elizabeth Forward High School Hall of Fame and is a graduate of Point Park University.

We will discuss with Mike his career path starting with the early years with the Sporting News and how being a sports writer has changed with technology. We will take an inside look at the upcoming NCAA Men’s basketball season and how his top 20 plays out. Top teams, surprises to watch out for in terms of teams and players alike. Will ask Mike who has a chance to be this year's Cinderella of the regular season. For Decade Definers we will have Mike share his top five games he has covered over the last 25 years.
