• Texas State Representative Jasmine Crockett, along with her Democratic Caucus, left Texas to block Republican’s voter suppression bill S.B 1 & H.B. 3. I have been watching freshman state representative Jasmine Crockett for some time. Her interviews are always fact-based and on point. This legislator knows the law and is never afraid to use it.
• The head of Harris County’s governing body, Judge Lina Hidalgo, visited the Kingwood Area Democrats, Humble Area Democrats, and other active Area Democratic groups for our belated 4th of July celebration. Judge Lina Hidalgo raced down from her commitments at the Texas Legislature in Austin to be with this amalgamation of groups. Many of our incumbent Democratic judges roamed the 150+ attendees for ballot signatures. Grassroots in action is a beautiful thing.
• Fmr. Sen. Claire McCaskill made it clear. She slammed GOP & Evangelical Ministers who would do well to reread the New Testament. She appropriately castigated the Evangelical Leaders. McCaskill reiterated that the reason their ICUs are at the highest levels is because of the failure of Republicans and Evangelical Ministers.
• Rebecca Azor, Like It Or Not Host at The Benjamin Dixon Show & Independent Journalist, discusses why alternative media is needed. Rebecca Azor visited Politics Done Right to discuss her passion for independent political journalism where she leverages her voice to bring political discourse in a manner that brings in the masses. She does not disappoint in describing herself and how she does what she does.
