In this 4-part series, Father Harry Dean and Deacon Ronnie Lastovica offer reflections upon their years of service in Restorative Justice Ministry. In this episode, Fr. Harry and Deacon Ronnie discuss their discernment of entrance into ministry with those who are incarcerated. They discussed why they answered "yes" to this call and who had a part in their saying this answer. They spoke about their life experiences and childhood religious upbringing that contributed to their answering the call. Finally, they considered their past reservations to entering into the ministry of restorative justice and how the listener can overcome any such reservations that they themselves may be having.
