Greetings my intrepid audio investigators.

My name is Inspector Murder - although when working undercover I'm known as a treader of the boards operating under the nom de plume Alistair Sanderson.

I'm here to introduce 'Inspector Murder Inspects...', the sleuthing sitcom which charts my adventures in Victorian London.

You're about to hear the second instalment of the series in which I and my colleagues attempt to identify a poison-pen letter writer hiding on a train. It's intriguing, it’s exciting… although the less said about what happened on the viaduct the better.

In the story I am joined by my fellow detective Laura Norder, our genius bondsman and inventor Luc Vercluse, and... and our housekeeper Constance Urveillence, whose behaviour in this adventure I refuse to condone. (SIGH) Good lord.

But never mind that - enjoy the show!
