Meet Sarit, a mother, wife and reservist who was caught quite literally in the middle of the most horrific storm of survival Israel has seen in the 21st century. They live in Kibbutz Alumim, located a mere couple of miles from Gaza.
In this podcast, she talks about the reality they faced, spending 26 hours in hiding, seeing their homes and people destroyed -- and witnessing first-hand what it was really like on the harrowing date of 7 October 2023 because of the Hamas massacre. All this while nursing a baby, evacuating and being displaced from their home for months on end.
Sarit continues to fight the good fight, standing up for her people, teaching displaced children, and keeping the community alive amidst the most challenging times they've ever faced.
