You don't need a major life event to have experienced financial trauma. In this episode, I chat with Rahkim Sabree who specializes in financial trauma. We talk about what it is, where it comes from, and how you can work through it to accomplish your financial goals. He also shares his story of getting out of poverty, microaggressions at work, pursuing entrepreneurship, and mental health.

“You do not have to have experienced the (financial) trauma directly in order to inherit that trauma.” - Rahkim Sabree

“I still believe in this idea of abundance. I still have aspirations and goals that have a monetary value but I’m also realizing that as much as it’s about the money, it’s also not. It’s about the impact. It’s about the experience. It’s about the freedom.” - Rahkim Sabree
