In this episode of The people you meet and the books you read, we finish Never Split the Difference by Chris Voss and Tahl Raz.
Chris Voss had a distinguished career as a hostage negotiator, with premier police forces and with the FBI, and has both attended and taught at some of the most prestigious and respected hostage negotiation trainings around the world.
This will be a two part series where we set the stage in part one and review some of the strategies in part two.
The main takeaway - negotiation is something to not be feared, but understood and practiced, and in today's episodes, you'll get an intro to many of the tactics that are shared in the book.
