Week 2 of the Eagles 2021 season is now in the books! The Birds lost to the San Fransisco 49'ers at their first home game of the season inside The Linc by a score of 17-11. The Eagles are now 1-1 on the season.
The defense got off to a great start and played well against the Niners' run game for the majority of the game. However, the offense and Nick Sirianni couldn't get much momentum in this game, showing us how much of a developmental season we're in for. It was up and down for Jalen Hurts - mostly down - and the Eagles receiving corps was extremely uninspiring in this game.
This week, we were joined by David Esser from sportscasting.com as we gave our analysis of this very disappointing loss.
As always, we gave our takeaways, dove into the stats, and graded the units and coaches.
