The trauma Jeff faced behind bars, like acts of violence from guards and the incarcerated, and adjusting to life post-incarceration, shaped his life in a way he never thought. Jeff has now spent a large part of his life studying the effects of the criminal justice system policies and procedures on at-risk youth.
