August is here! And I'm traveling like a pre-COVID jetsetter this month. So I'm going to practice what I preach and go a little easy on myself...and I'm hoping that this proves supportive and valuable for both of us. 🤗

First of all: make SURE you're subscribed wherever you listen to podcasts so that you don't miss the upcoming bonus series, a little something I'm calling Mindful Mondays. I designed these episodes to give you a short-and-sweet overview of mindfulness meditation + some ideas on how / why these practices really help to support those of us who tend towards anxiety. So tune in for those August 8th through August 29th.

Secondly, there are 177 episodes of The Transforming Anxiety Podcast out there and with that many, there are a few that have risen to the top as clear MVPs. This month we're going to revisit some of the most popular episodes (so far!). I find that hearing these things multiple times definitely helps...and it often lands much differently than the first go-around.

So, in that spirit, we're going to do another round of How to Let it Go this week. Anxious people often hear things like:

Calm down!

Don't worry so much...

Oh, just relax.

Let it go...

*sigh*

Yeah, WE KNOW! Amiright?! If we could calm down, quit worrying, relax, and let it go, we so totally would. No argument there.

It's more a matter of HOW TO, yeah? The stumbling blocks on the way to calming down, relaxing, and letting it go are what we struggle with.

This week's episode of The Transforming Anxiety Podcast is a 3-part framework that answers that "how to?" question. We'll explore how to let it go with 3 simple concepts borrowed from the Buddhist teachings.
