Sally Hetherington is the CEO of Human and Hope Australia, a charity that raises funds to support and empower local communities in Cambodia, and educates people here in Australia about the negative impacts of the 'voluntourism' industry. She's also written a book titled 'It's Not About Me', which details her own experiences as a voluntourist and her journey to discovering why these types of 'volunteer abroad' trips could be doing more harm than good.Sally's story starts out like many young Australians.
