After recording the highest individual finish by a Ute golfer at Regionals, the junior is off to the national tournament Ute junior golfer Tristan Mandur is on his way to the NCAA Championships, playing May 28-June 2 at the Grayhawk Golf Club in Scottsdale, Ariz. He joins the show to preview the championships, reflect on the season, and talk about the highlights of his Utah career. Mandur, a native of Mill Bay, British Columbia, became the third Utah golfer to qualify for NCAAs as an individual since 1990 and has the best Regional finish since that time by tying for fourth. The Ute golf team became the first Utah team to qualify for regionals since 1992, where it tied for seventh place.

With two weeks remaining in the regular season, redshirt senior pitcher Matthew Sox joins the show to talk about the highlights of the season and what has led to his success. Sox, who spent three years at Whitman College, pitched out of the bullpen last season and now is the Friday night starter. He has made 12 starts this year with a 4-3 record and 5.40 ERA. Sox has recorded 54 strikeouts and just 19 walks in 73.1 innings.…
