Class names and topics can vary from state to state and sometimes even district to district, so check with your local FCS teachers to see which classes will be best

- Family and Consumer Sciences (FCS) classes that involve finances
- FCS classes are available as early as 6th grade and are hands on regarding budgeting, purchasing, planning, and even advocating for themselves
- Finding FCS classes by names in different states
- In some states, certain FCS classes may meet the economics graduation requirement
- Financial topics in FCS classes can include banking, insurance, budgeting, mortgage rates, homebuying, taxes, renting costs, sustainability, etc.
