Today is Day 5 of our lesson about Salvation History and our topic is about the Israelites settling in the Promised Land. It wasn't easy to occupy a place that is already inhabited by people. They need to fight for their land and with the help and guidance of God, all fights that they had were victorious because they had a great leader, Joshua, and a faithful God. But what happened if their great leader died? There was a pattern developed wherein the Israelites when peaceful tend to forget about God and become unfaithful, then they would suffer from the invaders, then they would cry for help, then God would rescue them and call warriors of judges to bring justice in the land, and there would be peace again, and the cycle continues.
