Coming up on today’s episode, we sit down with James Bartle, the Founder and CEO of Outland Denim, a sustainable denim company based in Australia and a registered B Corporation. Outland Denim has gained international recognition for its commitment to creating premium denim products while also making a positive social and environmental impact. James and his team have developed a business model that provides employment and training opportunities for women who have been rescued from human trafficking, while also prioritizing ethical and sustainable practices throughout their supply chain.

Since its founding in 2011, Outland Denim has earned a reputation for its uncompromising standards, which include using only organic and non-toxic materials, ensuring fair wages and safe working conditions for its employees, and reducing its environmental footprint through initiatives such as water conservation and renewable energy use. The company has also been recognized as a B Corporation, a certification that recognizes businesses that prioritize social and environmental impact alongside profits.
