Unfortunately, A-Ninetales is the only Pokémon with this type combination and we both think that it's a huge shame that there aren't more Pokémon with the Ice/Fairy type.

Teddiursa is a cutie and Ursaluna is the powerhouse, so to me it seems that Ursaring is overlooked and I wanted to give it some love. Fall/Autumn is here and spooky season is almost upon us! Madeline and I love Halloween and so we wanted to do a "spooky" type combination. The Pokémon with this dual type are: - Nuzleaf - Shiftry - Cacturne - Zarude - Meowscarada - Brute Bonnet - Wo Chien This typing is really cool because it has a mythical, a paradox, and a legendary. We found out that we both really like the designs of a lot of these Pokémon. However, they might not have done so well on the competitive side. But that's okay because there have been some outstanding VGC players that really tried to take one of these Pokémon to the World Championship and we applaud them for their efforts. 🫡 Also! That Pokémon is none other than.......... Articuno!! I picked Articuno because we just got news from Pokémon GO, that the shiny Galarian Birds will be coming to the game. Unlike other legendary Pokémon, these ones will not be in raids, but will be available via your Daily Incense. These incenses last for 15 minutes and will spawn a Pokémon as long as you're walking. This is nothing new to the fandom of Pokémon, there's other podcasts and social media pages that already do this, but we wanted to jump on the bandwagon as well. We will still be doing Fusion episodes as well as Freeform episodes, those are not going away, I just wanted to add something new. These Pokémon of the Week, or POTW for short, episodes will be a lot shorter than the other two. Madeline and I will ask each other questions pertaining to 1 specific Pokémon, and we will try to make them as vague as possible for each other. These questions can be stuff you could find on Bulbapedia, or it could also have tie-ins to the real world! Still Alive! Recapping our Belize Trip and Month Away 35:10

Send us a text Hi there Pokémon Trainers! Madeline and I are still alive! Woo! Just to recap where we've been, we went to Belize for a week (it was incredible), and then came back home and almost immediately got sick. 🤢 Our Belize trip was incredible! We spent half of it on the coast where we were able to get a lot of regional Pokémon in Pokémon GO, including Heracross , Corsola , Maractus , aaaaaaand HAWLUCHA !! I'm a big fan of Hawlucha because it's based on masked Mexican wrestlers. Growing up, I watched a lot of lucha libre with my dad and uncles and I loved it from the moment I first saw it. From then I got into WWE, and I've been keeping up with the product ever since. So when Hawlucha came to Pokémon GO, I knew that I had to get one, but was disappointed when I found out that it would be a regional. But now we have some and I couldn't be any happier! While we were in Belize we also took a guided tour of a Mayan cave. It was crazy cool! This cave is a protected area and very few people can go in per day, and you need a certified guide who can navigate you through the cave. We were unfortunately not able to bring any cameras with us, but it was still an incredible experience that we will remember forever. After our trip we came back home and everything was fine for the first few days back. I even went back to work! Then, not even a week back, we BOTH got sick! It was horrible. We couldn't keep anything down, we had no appetite, and we both lost weight. We went to the Dr's and were put on antibiotics, which definitely helped, but then that came with its own problems. Anyways! Long story short, took a trip, came back home and got sick. Now we're doing fine! Oh! Santiago is still working and currently applying to PA schools and it is stressing him out, so send him luck and good vibes if you can. We recently celebrated our dog's, Apollo, one year gotcha day. If you follow us on Instagram you might have seen him in a post or two. We love our boy and we can't wait to spend many more years with him. With that being said, we wanted to make a tier list with all of the dog and other canine-like Pokémon. We like doing tier lists and this one was fun. We have no experience raising a puppy, but we took him in anyways and we're now fostering him. The puppy is now registered with our local animal shelter and will be staying with us until someone adopts him. It took him a few days to get along with our 65 pound dog, but now they love to play together and cuddle with us. Anyways! Back to Pokémon! I, Santiago, was one of those kids that was hooked into this franchise since the moment I played my first game. This is a fun game that I was able to rope Madeline into playing as well and now we're both big fans of Pokémon. With that being said, The Pokémon Company dropped a Pokémon Direct like they do every year for Pokémon Day. Some of these Pokémon Directs can be dull, where they just announce updates to already existing games or upcoming events, but they do occasionally drop a trailer for the next game. Since we're still in the month of February, we decided to do the fairy/flying dual type because it reminds us of Cupid, the flying baby that shoots love arrows! Currently there are 3 Pokémon with this dual type, those being: - Togetic - Togekiss - Enamorus Madeline is a huge fan of the Togekiss line, and Togepi is actually one of her all time favorites. In this episode we talk about all of her thoughts on this line and what they mean to her. We also talk about Enamorus. That's all I'm going to say right now. We also talked about our Sinnoh Tour experience that's going on this weekend. Send us a text Hi there Pokémon Trainers! I hope you're all having a wonderful day! UPDATE for all of the Pokémon GO players: as of last weekend Varoom and Revavroom have made their debuts in PoGo. However, they are currently only obtainable through 12 km eggs. It's unfortunate that they're locked behind that mechanic, as no other Paldea Pokémon has had that treatment until now. We do have a cool life update! Madeline and I found a 100% IV Frigibax in Pokémon GO while we were out doing raids. Madeline found it on the side of the road while we were waiting at a stop light and as soon as I found out that it was PERFECT, I freaked and turned around so I could get it too. Anyways! Getting back to the episode! There's only one family of Pokémon that have this unique typing, those being: - Varoom - Revavroom I personally really like this type and it's something I've wanted to see in a Pokémon game for such a long time, and I was not disappointed once I finally saw it! Send us a text Hi there Pokémon trainers! Madeline and I are so sorry for not releasing an episode for two whole weeks. We both got sick one after the other and we lost our voices. Madeline got sick first for a full week, and the next week I got sick with whatever she had, which was unfortunate. But we're both feeling better now and we hope that you all aren't too upset with us. We have some exciting news! We will be attending our FIRST ever official Pokémon event: Charlotte Regionals! This is tournament event for the TCG, VGC, and GBL. We'll just be there to spectate and have a good time in Charlotte. Also, we have a friend who will also be traveling to this event to participate in the GBL tournament, so good luck to him! Send us a text Hi there Pokémon trainers! It's our favorite time of year, and no it's not because of the Holidays, it's Spotify Wrapped season!! Every year around the end of November to the beginning of December, Spotify generates a personalized little slideshow showing you what your top songs, genres, podcasts, etc. this year were. It's really neat because you get to see what your faves were this year and if you go through different phases of music taste like Madeline and I do then it's a nice little reminder of what those phases were. So because it's that time of year Madeline had the genius idea of having an episode where we curated a Spotify Wrapped for memorable characters from the Pokémon world! This includes friends, rivals, gym leaders, elite four members, Pokémon Champions, and even evil team leaders! There's so many unique and interesting characters in this universe so we had to pick our favorites or ones we thought would be good picks to make a Wrapped playlist. We had tons of fun making this, but at the end of the day these were just our own opinions. If you have differing opinions or if you just don't like the playlists we gave each characters, please let us know or share your own thoughts as to what music you'd think they'd listen to.
