I met Gary years ago through my father in law. I have had the pleasure of playing golf with him through the years. He was the starting quarterback for The University of Alabama in 1989 & 1990. His senior year was Gene Stalling’s first year as head coach at Alabama. Being the humble person he is, during the podcast he told me that he also pitched for Alabama baseball one season as well. He tells of his college years, and his battle with cancer a few years back that he beat. Gary is a fighter, when he is faced with something, you can tell he is the person that gives it his all. I want to thank him again for being a guest on the show. If you love Alabama football, sports, golf, and life lessons, you will love this podcast.
