×In this sermon, Pastor Clint walks through Luke 1:39-56. Mary travels to visit her relative Elizabeth, who, filled with the Holy Spirit, confirms the miraculous nature of Mary's pregnancy and calls her blessed. In response, Mary magnifies the Lord with a song of praise, declaring His faithfulness, mercy, and power in exalting the humble. Despite the uncertainties of her situation, Mary’s unwavering trust in God’s promises shines through her joyful submission to His will.…
(DUE TO A RECORDING ISSUE, THE AUDIO IS MISSING THE FIRST 4 MINUTES OF THIS SERMON) In this sermon, Pastor Kevin looks at Luke 1:26-38. Here, the angel Gabriel announces to Mary that she will conceive and bear the Son of God, a message that initially prompts her reasonable question, "How will this be, since I am a virgin?" As Gabriel explains God’s plan and the power of the Holy Spirit, Mary gradually moves from questioning to trusting, accepting the incredible promise. Ultimately, her humble and submissive response, “I am the servant of the Lord; let it be to me according to your word,” serves as a model of faith, showing us how to trust God’s purposes even when they surpass our understanding.…
In this sermon, Pastor Clint looks at Luke 1:5-25. The angel Gabriel appears to Zechariah, a righteous but childless priest, to announce that he and his wife Elizabeth will miraculously have a son, John, who will prepare the way for the Lord. Despite their long years of waiting and Zechariah's initial disbelief, God's promise of joy and redemption is fulfilled in His perfect timing. The passage showcases God’s faithfulness to His people and His plan to bring hope and restoration even in seemingly hopeless situations.…
In this sermon, Pastor Clint looks at Luke 1:1-4. This passage reveals Luke's careful effort to compile an accurate account of Jesus' life, drawing from eyewitness testimony to give readers confidence in the gospel. By addressing Theophilus, who may have struggled with questions or doubts, Luke reminds us that faith is built on a trustworthy foundation. This passage acknowledges our human struggles with doubt while pointing to the reliability of the gospel as a source of certainty and hope.…
In this sermon, Pastor Kevin works thru Galatians 4:4-7. Paul helps us marvel at the Trinitarian gospel. First, we are invited to rest in the Father’s plan, trusting that His perfect timing and sovereign purposes brought about the sending of His Son to redeem us. Second, we are called to receive the Son’s accomplishment, embracing the freedom and adoption as children of God that Jesus secured through His life, death, and resurrection. Finally, we are urged to rejoice in the Spirit’s application of the Gospel, as the Spirit dwells within us, assuring us of our adoption and giving us the intimate cry of “Abba, Father.” At the start of a new year, this glorious truth grounds our identity and equips us to live with confidence, joy, and hope as heirs of God’s eternal kingdom.…
This sermon is from our Annual Prayer Sunday. Here, Pastor Clint looks at Mark 10, Galatians 4, and other texts that show us the "Who?", "How?", and "Why?" of prayer. Christ calls us to live lives marked by prayerful dependence upon him, as a needy child depends upon their Father.
In the final sermon of our Advent series, Pastor Kevin walks us through Malachi 4:1-6. This passage speaks of the Second Advent of Christ - a coming day of judgment, when the arrogant and wicked will be consumed like stubble, but the righteous will experience healing and renewal under the "sun of righteousness." Christ fulfills the promise of righteousness and healing through His life, death, and resurrection, bringing salvation to those who fear God's name. Furthermore, the reference to Elijah's coming finds fulfillment in John the Baptist, who prepared the way for Christ, calling people to repentance before the great and final day of the Lord.…
In this sermon, Pastor Clint opens up Malachi 3:1-6. God, unchanging in His mercy, calls His people to return to Him by ceasing to rob Him through withheld tithes, promising abundant blessings for their obedience. He distinguishes between the wicked, who dismiss Him, and the righteous, who revere His name, marking them as His treasured possession. This points to Christ, who perfectly restores us to God, enabling true reverence and faithful worship through His ultimate sacrifice.…
In this sermon, Pastor Clint walks thru Malachi 2:17–3:5. Israel puts God “in the dock,” questioning his goodness and justice. The LORD promises a messenger to prepare for His coming, where He will purify His people and judge sinners. This points to Christ, with John the Baptist as the messenger and Jesus as the refining Lord who brings both salvation and judgment.…
In this sermon, Pastor Clint walks us thru Malachi 2:10-16. God warns that spiritual neglect fractures relationships, as unfaithfulness to God leads to betrayal among His people. Israel's idolatry and broken marriages dishonor their shared covenant identity. Our relationships matter because they reflect our unity as God’s children, fulfilled in Christ. Through His faithfulness, Jesus restores us to God and empowers us to nurture relationships that reflect His covenant love.…
In this sermon, Pastor Kevin looks at Malachi 2:1-9. God rebukes the priests for dishonoring His name, corrupting His covenant with Levi, and leading others astray. He warns of curses and disgrace for their unfaithfulness, contrasting their failure with His desire for reverent, faithful leaders. This points to Christ, the ultimate High Priest, who perfectly honors God and brings life, peace, and truth, fulfilling what human priests could not.…
In this sermon, Pastor Clint walks thru Malachi 1:6-14. God rebukes His people for dishonoring Him through apathetic worship, offering blemished sacrifices that reveal their lack of love and reverence. Though God is a Father and Master deserving honor, their half-hearted devotion reflects spiritual complacency. This passage calls us to "ponder anew" the worthiness of Christ, who offered Himself as the perfect sacrifice, demonstrating ultimate love and devotion to the Father. Reflecting on His work stirs us to examine our hearts and renew our worship, offering God the honor and reverence He deserves.…
Malachi 1:1-5 opens with God declaring His love for Israel. God reminds Israel that He chose Jacob over Esau, symbolizing His sovereign grace and favor toward His people, despite their sins and failures. This passage points to Christ as the ultimate fulfillment of God’s covenant love for His chosen people. Through Christ, God’s love is fully expressed and extended to all nations. Just as God’s favor rested on Jacob, believers are now recipients of this divine favor through faith in Christ, who secures God’s everlasting love and covenant promises.…
In this sermon, Pastor Clint walks us through Micah 7:8-20. Micah ends his book with a profound confession, acknowledging Israel’s sin and recognizing that their suffering comes from their rebellion against God. In a prayer for deliverance, Micah asks for God’s mercy, longing for the day when God will restore His people, protect them, and guide them with steadfast love. The prophet closes with assurance of pardon, envisioning a compassionate God who will cast their sins into the depths of the sea—a vision ultimately fulfilled in Jesus Christ, who, as the Good Shepherd, bears the sins of His people and secures God’s eternal covenant of grace.…
In this sermon, Pastor Clint looks at Micah 7:1-7. As Micah surveys his community, his heart is broken, and he expresses his pain through lament. Our culture has lost the language of lament for good vibes and quick fixes. But what has been lost for us as this language has gone dormant? Listen and be challenged to rediscover the language of lament and see how the Lord uses lament to help guide us from pain to promise.…
In this sermon, Pastor Clint works through Micah 6. God calls His people to remember His faithful acts and asks what He truly requires of them. Rather than sacrifices, God desires a heart committed to justice, mercy, and humility (Micah 6:8). This points to the gospel of Christ, where God’s ultimate requirement is fulfilled in Jesus, who embodies perfect justice and mercy. Through His sacrifice, we are called to live out this gospel by walking humbly with God, reflecting Christ's love and righteousness in our lives.…
Micah 5 tells us of the coming ruler from Bethlehem, a seemingly insignificant town, who will bring deliverance to Israel. This ruler whose origins are "from of old, from ancient days," is Jesus Christ. . He is the True King who leads, protects, and brings peace to His people. He is the ruler, born in humble circumstances, yet destined to reign over all nations with justice and grace. Through His reign, we find true security and salvation.…
Pastor Clint walks us through Micah 4:1-13. This passage presents a vision of hope and restoration, wherein the "last days" the mountain of the Lord's house will be established, drawing nations to seek His ways and walk in peace. War will cease, and God's people will live in security under His reign. Despite present suffering and exile, God promises to gather His scattered people, restore their strength, and make them a powerful force, symbolizing His ultimate victory and the restoration of His kingdom.…
In this sermon, Pastor Clint walks thru Micah 3:1-12. God condemns the corrupt leaders and prophets of Israel for their injustice and deceit, exploiting the people while claiming God's favor. This passage points to the need for a true and righteous leader, which is fulfilled in Christ, who embodies justice and truth, never compromising or exploiting the vulnerable. Through Christ, God's grace is offered, but not as something to be presumed upon—it calls for repentance and alignment with His kingdom of righteousness.…
In this sermon, Pastor Kevin looks at Micah 2. Micah condemns the leaders of God's people for their oppression and injustice, while also promising future restoration. God vows to gather a remnant of His people, acting as their shepherd and king who will lead them to freedom. This points to Jesus, the Good Shepherd and King, who confronts injustice, bears judgment for sin, and leads His people to salvation and eternal life.…
In this sermon, Pastor Kevin walks thru Micah 1:8-16. Here, Micah laments the depth of sin and the impending judgment as a result. The passage confronts us with the question - do we see the depth of sin in our own lives? Do we, like Micah, and like Christ, lament the sin and brokenness both in us and around us?…
In this sermon, Pastor Clint begins our Micah series by looking at Chapter 1:1-7. Here, we read of the prophet Micah receiving a message from God, announcing judgment upon Samaria and Jerusalem due to their sins. God declares that He will come down from His heavenly throne and bring destruction upon these cities, with Samaria’s idols, temples, and treasures to be shattered. This passage emphasizes the seriousness of idolatry and the inevitable consequences of turning away from God’s commands.…
In this sermon, Andrew Davies proclaims Christ as the Good Shepherd from John 10:1-16. Shepherd/sheep imagery is sprinkled all throughout the Bible. In this passage, Jesus shows us how he is the Shepherd who knows us, calls us, and changes us. It is essential for us, his sheep, to hear and respond to his voice so that we may have the abundant life that Christ offers.…
In this sermon, Pastor Clint looks at Matthew 25:31-46. In this sobering passage, Jesus gives us a glimpse down the halls of human history to our judgment day. The day is coming, when King Jesus will separate everyone into one of two groups -- the sheep and the goat. What distinguishes the difference between sheep and goats? What awaits them? Listen and be challenged to consider what list your name is on.…
In this sermon, Pastor Clint looks at Matthew 15:1-20 as we continue to paint a portrait of Jesus. In this chapter, Pharisees and Scribes confront Jesus with an accusation veiled as a question. They accuse him and his disciples of being defiled because they break with the tradition of the elders. Jesus calls out their spiritual misdiagnosis as superficial and hypocritical. Then, he teaches on true defilement and speaks to the problem of the heart. Listen and be challenged as we consider how God changes us from the inside out.…
In this sermon, Pastor Clint looks at Matthew 13:1-23 and the parable of the sower. As we continue to build out a portrait of Jesus from the Gospels, it's important to see that Jesus frequently spoke in parables. In this sermon, we'll ask three questions: What is a parable? Why did Jesus speak in parables? And what does this parable mean? Listen and be challenged to consider what type of soil you are.…
In this sermon, Pastor Clint looks at Matthew 9:35-10:42. Jesus has hard words to hear about the costs of following him and joining Him on his mission. Though they are hard words, they are true words and we must defy complacency and comfort and believe in the mission to the point of cruciform obedience. Listen and be challenged to follow Jesus even when it is hard.…
In this sermon, Justin Fung looks at John 15:9-17. In this passage, Jesus defines love and challenges his disciples to love one another. Love is putting someone else's needs above your own. This sermon challenges you to move from theoretical love to actual love, to move from theory to practice.
In this sermon, guest preacher Jared Kirk looks at the portrait of Jesus found in Luke 7:37-50. In this passage, a woman shows extravagant love to Jesus. As one who has been forgiven much, she responds with love that causes others to take notice. One of those people who noticed is a pharisee named Simon. He is blind to his spiritual debt, and Jesus tells a parable to help him see. Listen and be challenged to receive the forgiveness of Jesus and have your life marked by extravagant love.…
In this sermon, Pastor Magdiel looks at Mark 5:1-20. In this passage, Jesus shows He has authority and power over the spiritual realm. Jesus meets a man with an unclean spirit who lived among the tombs. He was the living among the dead. And Jesus pursued him, healed him, and changed his life forever. This same Jesus can change your life too.…
