In this episode of The Real Build, I sat down with my former high school football coach, friend, and mentor Coach Chris Metzger. Coach Metzger made a huge impact on my life growing up. He not only coached me in football but also instilled in me the values of hard work, discipline, and perseverance that have carried me throughout my life and career. His Leadership on and off the field helped shape the person I am today, and I’m honored to share our conversation, where we discuss the lessons learned on the gridiron, the importance of mentorship, and how faith in God has been a guiding force in both of our lives.
Some other topics we discussed were going from transactional to transitional in coaching. Metzger's 5 Pillars of Success: Leadership is biblical, how you do one thing is how you do all things, and you take ownership.
