Welcome to the Pining For Pixels podcast! This is my video game variety show podcast, part of the Red Rooster's Gaming Coop network where I talk gaming and gaming culture every week. Each episode will feature a subject or theme that interests me, and I will speak about what is on my mind in the world of video games!
Happy New Year! With 2024 in the rear view mirror it is time to reflect on the major events of the year. I'll revisit my resolutions I made for 2024 and my predictions to see how close I came. It is also time for the preliminary game of the year awards, where I recognize several categories from platform specific best-of, to categories like Best VR game and most under-rated game you shouldn't miss! The only thing missing is the overall best game of the year for 2024, as that one needs a little more Tim in the oven (next week)! This is simply part 1 of my game of the year awards for 2024. Tune in to hear what prediction I got eerily close with, and what games are recognized as the best for their categories for 2024.
