When Caroline started it was a new beginning, and he listened to all the stations, but Caroline was his favourite by far. Later he became a singer in a band, then started doing discos when he was 18. Just one Christmas song, James Brown "Santa Claus Go Straight To the Ghetto", from a Christmas album he did in 1968 called "A Soulful Christmas". That's my offering for the silly season, otherwise it's always the season for great roots music. A bit of a technical blue to start with - heck what's new? But after that it was plain sailing.
