What happens when privately-owned apartment buildings need upgrade? Multiple owners - all with their own ideas - can mean it's easier to sell and move, rather than refurbish. But two Sydney researchers want to change that - and give architects and homeowners the tools they need to co-design a new life for old apartment buildings.
