A few days after it was announced that an LRA commander, Dominic #Ongwen, surrendered to the American special forces, a faction of #Seleka rebels who were in power in the Central African Republic are now claiming that they captured and handed the Ugandan rebel leader to the Americans.

They said they were disappointed that the Americans did not publicly recognise their role in the arrest of Dominic Ongwen. Mounir Ahamat, a Seleka commander in the North West of the CAR, explains the conditions of Ongwen's arrest.

Mounir Ahamat also said he was was hoping the money that was promised for the arrest of the #LRA commander would be given to them.
