Books and rhymes is the name of the new album of Ghanaian rapper Edem. It's being released early this month and in it he sings and raps in the dialect of the Volta region of west africa Ewe. He's also involved with campaigns to encourage pupils in the countryside to learn to read and write in local dialects as part of a literacy drive. On the line to the Accra Studio, Akwasi Sarpong asked him about the name of the new album Books and rhymes.
