Being the only woman and/or person of color at work can be intimidating for a number of reasons.
It can cause you to: 📍 Feel pressured to code-switch and not bring your authentic self to work. 📍Refrain from speaking up and networking with others, causing you to miss important networking opportunities. 📍 Internalize daily microaggressions which can shake your confidence to the core.
And although it may feel uncomfortable right now, by reshaping your perspective you can overcome the negativity, anxiety, and nervousness...and step into your power.
