This summer we have been diving into the selected passages in the Gospel of John. Today we will unpack the resurrection of Lazarus. Have you ever found yourself questioning Jesus asking, "Where were you Jesus. I needed you!" I have been there and I know many of you have struggled through questions like this. Tragedy befalls us and we find ourselves questioning God's goodness, His sovereignty, His love for us, and possibly even whether He is actually God. If you have been there you are not alone and our passage in John 11 today speaks to this tension in your soul. So my prayer is this morning God would meet with you and help you see that He is the resurrection and the Life, that he is our messiah who conquered death so that we might have eternal life!
