A day very few people thought would never happen in April 2021 finally came true on Tuesday night. This is truly a pinch-me moment, as Dr. Mark Emmert--the ultimate jerk outside of former President Donald J. Trump will finally leave behind one of the worst run organizations in United States, let alone world history as president of the NCAA.

Along with the 9-0 Supreme Court decision in June 2021 ushering the Wild West with NIL, this announcement signals a seismic shift in the overall collegiate sports model. Regardless what you think the NCAA should be representing in the future, be very thankful that a cool breath of very fresh air has arrived.
