Audacy Sports and BetQL’s Lucy Burdge joins the show. She is higher on the Yankees now than she was earlier in the season. Lucy is on the same page as Jerry in thinking that the Jets will go over their Vegas total of 9.5 wins. She even goes so far as to call it “free money”. Lucy isn’t high on the Giants and shares her other favorite plays heading into the NFL season. CLo returns for an update and begins with the tragic news of Johnny Gaudreau and his brother’s passing. The Mets and Edwin Diaz had a much-needed win after Wednesday’s loss. Jerry and Willie agree it sounds more and more like Haason Reddick and his agent went back on their word. Willie remembers the Aaron Rodgers injury and called Zach Wilson awful. Rutgers beat Howard last night and Howard’s head coach complained about Rutgers scoring on the final play of the game. In the final segment of the hour, Jerry plays “Ripped From the Headlines” with Willie.
