Matthew Purkey welcomes Wes King to the Boots on the Ground Podcast where “anything you do is gonna have an impact.” Wes is a US Army Combat Veteran, having served 7 years in active duty, deploying multiple times to Iraq and Afghanistan as a member of the elite 75th Ranger Regiment. While in the military, he felt he had a constant purpose, but after he left, he struggled to find it again. He has since found that purpose by serving with his fellow veterans. Wes tells the story of his service as an Army Ranger, transitioning out of the military, serving as the Mission Continues Seattle Platoon Leader, and what’s to come as the Regional Operations Manager for the Northwest United States.
