SERMON: The Jesus Way
SCRIPTURE: Matthew 9:36-38
'When he saw the crowds, he had compassion on them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd. Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.”'

Rethink Evangelism...
I define evangelism as “nudge” and evangelists as “nudgers.”

Nudge: A light touch or push gently in order to draw attention to something.
1. Evangelism is nudging people to see that Jesus is already at work in their lives.
2. Evangelism is nudging people to pay attention to the mission of Jesus in their lives.
3. Evangelism is patient farming.
'I planted the seed, Apollos watered it, but God has been making it grow. So neither the one who plants nor the one who waters is anything, but only God, who makes things grow. The one who plants and the one who waters have one purpose, and they will each be rewarded according to their own labor. For we are co-workers in God’s service; you are God’s field, God’s building. '
1 Corinthians 3:6-9
CONCLUSION: Today, let's join with Jesus on the mission field and nudge those who cross our paths to see Jesus at work in their lives. Let's be NUDGERS!
