117: SWAT-Casey Viner & Shane Gaskill, Haunted-Santa Maria Inn, and Drunk Ghost cocktail

This week Deklan tells us about long-time gamers, Casey Viner & Shane Gaskill. The pair were playing Call of Duty and Viner was angered by something Gaskill did in the video game. Viner threatened to send law enforcement to Gaskill’s home in a different state. Gaskill didn’t take the threat seriously and gave a fake address. Viner got the assistance of another person, Tyler Barriss, to make the actual phone call. The incident led to the death of an innocent man at the address Gaskill had given. Andrew Finch died as a result of this activity.

Jane tells us about the historic hotel the Santa Maria Inn. It has been an icon of the central coast of California for over a century. It also happens to be haunted. Tales of cuddling ghosts and playful children will give you goosebumps for sure.
