A Winter Walk on the Beach

We are taking some time away for the holidays, but have a few things to share in the interim. In this short video, Vicky takes us with her on a winter's day walk on the beach near Qing Dao.

这是一个温暖的冬日的午后。

让我们一起去青岛的海边走一走，

看一看沙滩上有没有人。

Zhè shì yīgè wēnnuǎn de dōngrì de wǔhòu.

Ràng wǒmen yīqǐ qù qīngdǎo dì hǎibiān zǒu yī zǒu,

kàn yī kàn shātān shàng yǒu méiyǒu rén.

Dàjiā dōu zài zuò yīxiē shénme ne?

It is a warm winter afternoon. Let's go to the beach in Qingdao and take a walk,see if there are people on the beach. What is everyone doing?

远处的礁石上有一个人在海边垂钓。

他的样子十分的专注。

希望他今天能有所收获。

Yuǎn chǔ de jiāoshí shàng yǒuyī gèrén zài hǎibiān chuídiào.

Tā de yàngzǐ shífēn de zhuānzhù.

Xīwàng tā jīntiān néng yǒu suǒ shōuhuò.

There is a man fishing on the reef in the distance. He looks very focused. I hope he can catch something today.

那边的红衣小哥扔飞盘扔得很高。

这边两只小狗玩的很开心。

Nà biān de hóng yī xiǎo gē rēng fēipán rēng dé hěn gāo.

Zhè biān liǎng zhī xiǎo gǒu wán de hěn kāixīn.

The boy in red over there threw the frisbee very high. The two puppies over here are having fun.

当然要说最喜欢沙滩的那应该还是小朋友们吧。

天气这么冷也阻挡不了他们玩水的热情。

有些小朋友和父母一起在走路。

有些在自己堆着沙堡。

也有一些在海边寻找着宝贝。

希望他们能够捡到自己喜欢的贝壳。

Dāngrán yào shuō zuì xǐhuān shātān de nà yīnggāi háishì xiǎopéngyǒumen ba.

Tiānqì zhème lěng yě zǔdǎng bùliǎo tāmen wán shuǐ de rèqíng.

Yǒuxiē xiǎopéngyǒu hé fùmǔ yīqǐ zài zǒulù.

Yǒuxiē zài zìjǐ duīzhe shā bǎo.

Yěyǒu yīxiē zài hǎibiān xúnzhǎozhe bǎobèi.

Xīwàng tāmen nénggòu jiǎn dào zìjǐ xǐhuān de bèiké。

Of course, the ones who like the beach the most are probably the children.

The cold weather can't stop their enthusiasm for playing in the water.

Some children are walking with their parents. Some are building sand castles.

Some are looking for treasures on the beach. I hope they can pick up their favorite shells.

走在柔软的沙滩上，耳边传来阵阵的海浪声。

非常的舒适，非常的放松。

感觉烦恼瞬间就消失了。

Zǒu zài róuruǎn de shātān shàng, ěr biān chuán lái zhèn zhèn dì hǎilàng shēng.

Fēicháng de shūshì, fēicháng dì fàngsōng.

Gǎnjué fánnǎo shùnjiān jiù xiāoshīle.

Walking on the soft beach, the sound of waves came to my ears.

Very comforting and relaxing.

It feels like all my troubles disappeared instantly.
