A WALK by Jon Berry

Performer: Grace VanceGrace is an Actor and Voice Over Artist and trained with a full scholarship at the Sylvia Young Theatre School. Grace’s television credits include Ashes To Ashes (BBC 1), School of Comedy (E4) and Demons (ITV 1). Voice over credits include When The Dog Dies (BBC Radio 4), Rainbow Magic: Return To Rainspell Island (directed by Hiroshi Kawamata for The Answerstudio), Pet Squad (directed by Darrall Macqueen for CBBC), Castlevania: Lords of Shadow (Mercury Steam) and ongoing work with Pearson, for whom Grace voices a line of Educational Language Tapes. Grace’s theatre credits include The Sound of Music (London Palladium, Really Useful Group), various productions with the Bristol Playwrights’ Collective, and solo show ZERO (Underbelly at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival / The King’s Head) for which Grace was the recipient of the NSDF Special Mention for Acting.

Writer: Jon Berry Jon is a playwright, writer and editor. He is currently co-editor of Our Square Mile/Ein Milltir Sgwâr along with Robert Minhinnick. Credits include Bear (EverythingAtOnce, WMC), Strays (Sherman Theatre), Elegy for David (Bristol Playwrights’ Collective). Work in development includes Tachwedd (Theatre503), Birdwatching (Royal Court). Jon is a current member of Theatre503’s 503Five programme and Royal Court’s Welsh Writers Group. He is an alum of Sherman Theatre New Welsh Playwrights’ Programme and National Theatre Wales’ Egin. He received the Kevin Elyot Award for Playwriting 2018.

Director: Alice Eklund Alice is a bilingual Welsh director and emerging dramaturg. She is also the founder of BolSHE, a women-led company made to celebrate and utilise Welsh and Wales based women. She is also a reader for this year’s Theatre Uncut Political Playwriting Award. Director credits include See For Yourself and Bratiaith by Claire Boot and Mali Ann Rees (Heart of Cardiff, Sherman Theatre), Seaside by Martha Reed (KickItDown Productions), Y Rhyfelwraig & ZIP by Elin Phillips and Alun Saunders (TEN/DEG, Sherman Cymru), Constellations by Nick Payne (British Festival of One Act Plays & The Other Room). Assistant Director credits include Wanted Petula by Fabrice Melquiot/adapted by Daf James (August012 R&D), Hela by Mari Izzard (The Other Room, Theatre 503), A Night in the Clink by Matthew Bulgo, Tracy Harris and Branwen Davies (Papertrail, Sherman Cymru), The Awkward Years by Matthew Bulgo (The Other Room). She is also assisting on another project in development with August012 for November 2020.

THUMBS UP By Joshua McCord

Writer & Performer: Joshua McCord Joshua trained as an Actor at the Royal Welsh college of Music and Drama and has worked professionally as an Actor for over Ten years in both Theatre and Television. Joshua’s Theatre credits include numerous productions with Royal Shakespeare Company, The National Theatre and The West End productions of WAR HORSE, COOL HAND LUKE and most recently DON QUIXOTE for the RSC at the Garrick Theatre. His Television Credits include POLDARK, JOSH, DOCTORS and he plays the regular role Billy Tucker in the BBC comedy series “THE TUCKERS”. As a writer, his first short film "Dad" aired on BBC Wales in 2018.

Director: Lisa Diveney Lisa is a Welsh director and was Emerging Director at National Theatre of Wales in 2019. Director credits include Merry F**king Christmas Kids by Kelly Jones (Rapid Write Response,Theatre 503), rehearsed readings include Papatango’s WriteWest, Kath Chandler’s Bird (The Far Away Plays) and a lockdown monologue penned by Rick Allden, starring Andrea Hall, Be Careful What You Show (CompactsUK). Work in development includes plays by Kelly Jones and Michael Currell. Assistant Director credits include Shook (Papatango/Southwark Playhouse), For All I Care (NTW) and The Lucky Spot (RWCMD). She has also assisted on numerous workshops and readings, most recently for Chippy Lane Productions and The Far Away Plays. Lisa has worked extensively as an actor and voice over artist since training at RWCMD.
