THIS WEEK ON CHRISTORIES we're uncovering the TRUTH about your favorite Indian Rights Activist👉 Gandhi 🙌 Gandhi was born in Porbandar, India in 1869 and was raised being a devoted practitioner of Vaishnavism which promotes self discipline and non violence. Gandhi grew to be a lawyer and moved from India to South Africa to practice law. There he started stand up for Indian people's rights as there was a lot of discrimination. When he returned to India, he fought for India's independence from Britain. British rule in India was strong and unfair -- to the point they had a huge taxes on salt. SALT!? Gandhi protested this one ridiculous law with a non violent tactic -- marching to the sea to make his own salt, which we know as his famous Salt March.

Gandhi promoted a lot of peaceful protest and even though he wasn't violent, he did get arrested for rallying so many people together!! He was a good person who inspired a lot of good, but also was known to do a few border line bad things with his nieces. Listen to the TRUTH today!
