After Leo's Big Day, you'd think our heroes would get a well-earned break - and you'd think wrong. The political situation in Voldhur is just getting warmed up, and the Valcynes find themselves once again in the middle of it all. Is anyone surprised at this point? Tomás Highvale does the wrong thing for the right reasons. Maximus Greyriver shows his true colors. Phirora faces a moral dilemma. Leoril politically maneuvers like his life depends on it (because it kind of does). With the fate of nations hanging in the balance, Leo and Phi are forced to face the ugly truth about their parts to play - and forced to question how much they really want them.
