RaeLynn is a Country Music singer/songwriter who competed on season 2 of The Voice and recently released her sophomore album Baytown. RaeLynn joins Country Music Made Me to discuss her adventures after high school which included a move to L.A. to pursue acting and a chance meeting during a singing competition at a coffee shop which turned into writing trips to Nashville, all of which happened before her time competing on The Voice. RaeLynn and Brendan talk about the balancing act of finding yourself within your music while at the same time navigating the business side of the industry, which she did in her late teens and early 20's. Finally, RayLynn explains the growth she's experienced both professionally and personally over the years, what Brian and Tyler of Florida Georgia Line have meant in her career, and the importance her new album Baytown has had on solidifying her sound and voice in the Country Music genre.
