Welcome back to Courtroom Confidential with Joshua Ritter! This week, I share my insights on some of this week’s updates in the true crime world, including:
- Music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs issued an apology after a video was leaked showing the hip-hop icon violently attacking his one-time girlfriend Cassie Ventura.
- The most explosive witnesses to date took the stand in the continuing murder trial of Boston woman Karen Read. Read is charged in the murder of Boston police officer John O’Keefe.
- TikTok influencer “JinnKid” testified on his own behalf in a Hail Mary attempt to save himself from conviction for the murders of his wife and her male companion.
Plus, I briefly cover cases that also made headlines this week, including the latest in the case of Christopher Gregor, who is charged with endangering the welfare of a child and murder in connection to the death of his six-year-old son, Corey Micciolo, Alec Baldwin’s attorney’s who requested to dismiss a grand jury indictment and much more, including what’s on the docket for next week.
