I’ve been walking in Elnup Wood since 2015 and I started to see weird structures that I have not seen anything like before. I work at night, so really early in the morning I would walk my dogs in the woods. I started to find these structures made from tree branches, some of the branches were quite thick in diameter, they were always broken and had no tool marks and no footprints in the soft mud around them. I saw no evidence of a camp fire or human debris. In fact I did not see anything that looked human made at all. Some of these structures would vanish or appear almost overnight. I also heard a strange call on nine occasions I was out there. Somehow I was shouted at by a disembodied voice and it said the word “YODE”. A simple internet search revealed this word is from an ancient language meaning “go” or “went”. The voice was really deep and gravelly.
