In this edition of the weekly GrizzCast Chase is joined by Chris Reed, site administrator and producer of deepfriedcouch.com and the Deep Fried Podcast. In this weekly series we will cover the highlights of the past week of Grizzlies action as well as discuss our current opinion about the team from a fan’s perspective.

In this special edition of the weekly GrizzCast Chase and Chris get ready for playoff action in the Grind House on Beale Street. The Grizzlies have clenched the 4 seed and home court advantage for the first round of the playoffs against Chris Paul, Blake Griffin, and the Las Angeles Clippers and are ready to tip-off Sunday night. We’ll discuss how the Grizzlies have gotten to this point, what they need to do in order to win this series, and what we think the story lines will be if we are looking back on a Grizzlies series win. We also cover the perception of the Clippers as a “hated” team as pointed out by the Geoff Calkins article in the Commercial Appeal this morning and how true we think this perception is. If nothing else, we know the Clippers TV announcers make them slightly easier to hate.
